Balance & Strengthening
Meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Free.
Instructed by Merry Geil.
Benefits of a strengthening class include: Improved balance, better posture, and injury prevention. Improved balance minimizing risk of falls; good posture promotes back health. Joint stability increases by stretching and strengthening surrounding muscles, ligaments, and tendons, reducing stress on joints that can result in injury.
Increased strength and stamina. Exercise restores your muscles so you are able to do things you used to do, and gives you reserve energy.
Prime Time Fitness (previously called Head to Toe Fitness)
Meets Monday and Friday. Instructed by Dorry Brown.
This class includes stretching, aerobics, dyna-bands, strength & muscle toning, flexibility and balance.
Healing Qi Gong Practice
Meets Saturdays, Led by certified Qi Gong instructor, Jan Polin. Free.
Based on the ancient Chinese practice of gently rhythmic movements and breathing which strengthen the body and relax the mind. Healing practices can be done while seated. Combines specific movements, meditation, and relaxation. Class is conducted outside on the back patio when weather permits.

Upon payment, students will receive a printed receipt that they give to the course instructor in exchange for a punch card. Punch cards allow students to attend the class at their convenience.
Hatha Yoga
Meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday. $30 for 8 sessions. Instructed by Pat Shaw. Exercise that teaches the basic principles of health, both physically and mentally. Treat yourself to gentle stretching to improve body tone, circulation, and flexibility. The classes will cover proper body alignment and the benefits of performing postures. Participants will learn how to center and align the body through breathing techniques (pranayana), postures (asana) and deep relaxation to reduce stress and help you sleep better at night.
Please supply your own yoga mat.
Chair Yoga
Meets Wednesday and Friday. Instructed by Pat Shaw. $30 for 8 sessions. A more gentle form of yoga. Great for people who want to try yoga, but are limited in mobility! Exercises done while seated. Treat yourself to gentle stretching to improve body tone, circulation, and flexibility. Learn relaxation techniques to reduce stress and help you sleep better at night.
