Off-leash Dog Parks

All parks are fenced, with a double-gate system for safety.

Partner Park

Located behind Belle Cooledge Community Center at 5699 South Land Park Drive, off of South Land Park Drive; park behind center.
Park Hours: 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
Park is 2.5 acres. Amenities include lights, bench, and dog waste bag dispensers. - Mapquest Map

Granite Park

Located in Granite Regional Park on Ramona Avenue off of Power Inn Road.- Mapquest Map
Park Hours: 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Park is 2 acres. Amenities include a drinking fountain for dogs, turf, and dog waste bag dispensers.
Lights are scheduled to be installed in December 2007.

Bannon Creek Park

Located in Bannon Creek Park on Bannon Creek Drive off of Azevedo Drive (near West El Camino).- Mapquest Map
Park Hours: 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Park is .6 acres. Amenities include benches, dog drinking fountain/faucet and dog waste bag dispensers.

Tanzanite Community Park

Located in Tanzanite Community Park, 2220 Tanzanite Way - Mapquest Map
This 2-acre dog park includes a drinking fountain for dogs, turf and native grass areas, trees, dog waste bag dispensers and benches for dog owners. Note: this dog park was renovated in June, 2007.

Upcoming Dog Parks

North Sacramento Community Dog Park
Located near Royal Oaks Drive and Leisure Lane
Construction tentatively scheduled for 2008

City staff met with residents to present plans for this proposed community dog park on October 8, 2007. The group discussed ideas and issues, and suggested solutions to make the proposed site a functional and beautiful place for dogs and their owners. Adventure Park - Dog Park

A 2-acre dog park divided into separate large and small dog areas with a drinking fountain for dogs, turf and decomposed granite areas, trees, an obstacle course for dogs, dog waste bag dispensers and benches for dog owners.
