Skate Park
- When will the skate park open?
The skate park will open to the public at 10a.m., Friday, November
24, 2006
- What are the hours of operation?
The skate park is currently scheduled to be open from 8a.m.
to dusk
- Are bikes allowed?
Bikes are not allowed. Only skateboards and in-line skates
are allowed. There is a BMX course at the South Natomas Community Park.
- Will users be required to wear helmets?
Yes, helmets and pads are required.
- Will there be lights?
Yes, lights are scheduled to be added in the spring / summer
of 2007

Dog Park
- When will the dog park open?
The dog park will re-open at 10a.m., Friday, November 24, 2006
- What are the hours of operation?
The dog park will be open from dawn until dusk.
- Where can dogs be off leash?
Dogs can only be off leash within the fenced area of the dog park.
- Will dogs be required to have a license?
Dogs must be licensed; but unlike skaters, they don’t
have to wear helmets
and pads.
