Manuel J. Barandas Park Master Plan

South Natomas Community, located on Grasslands Drive and West El Camino.

Designed as an adult sports and family oriented park. The park was opened in summer 2005.
Park amenities include:

  • Landscape including trees, turf, nature area
  • Softball/Regulation-sized soccer field
  • Central promenade with tree grove
  • Adventure playground
  • Walkways
  • Site furniture
  • Small amphitheater
  • Nature area

Further improvements will include restrooms, ball field lighting, additional soccer field/open turf area, a tot lot, two turf volleyball courts, small parking lot and group picnic structure.
