This 1.52 acre neighborhood park will be closed for renovation for the summer of 2010 and will reopen in late fall 2010. M.L. King Jr. Park will include the following amenities:

  • Children’s Playground with Concrete Dragon   
  • Butterfly Garden with Educational Interpretive Signs 
  • Picnic Area with Metal Shade Structure
  • Walkways   
  • Site Furniture (picnic tables, benches, group grill and drinking fountain)  
  • Freegame Court  
  • Lighting
  • Landscaping (water efficient shrubs and shade trees)
  • Park Sign
