Initial construction of this 25-acre site included a community center, library and off-street parking, which opened during fall 2001.

The first phase of park construction opened in summer 2006, and includes a soccer/baseball field, children's playground, group picnic area, walkways and site furniture. Lifetrail Stations (senior and disabled fitness equipment stations) installed during May 2007. The Rose Garden opened in July 2007 - learn more about the Rose Garden (pdf). The site also include a dirt BMX park.
