Access Aquatics (swim lessons for special needs)
The Aquatics Section offers swim lessons for children, teens, and adults with disabilities and special needs on a limited availability basis. Access Aquatics lessons can be tailored to meet the special needs of individuals with either physical or developmental challenges. Qualified instructors will focus on each individual's strengths and tailor the sessions to enhance his/her ability level. An individual with a disability (as defined by the ADA) is a person who has a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one of more major life activities. If a participant cannot be mainstreamed into a regular group lesson, then a private lesson will be arranged on an availability basis. Must be willing to register in person at Coloma Community Center. Call 808-2306 for more information.

For more information contact Aquatics staff via email at aquatics@cityofsacramento.org or by calling (916) 808-2306.
