George Sim Community Center

in George Sim Park, accessible
from Highway 50 south on Power Inn Road, or Highway 99 east on Fruitridge
Road, George Sim Community Center has a multipurpose room, meeting room,
and art room available for rental. Rooms are available for meetings, classes,
community events, dances, wedding receptions, and all types of celebrations.
A full kitchen is also available for a fee. All rooms
have heating and air conditioning. There is plenty of parking in the lot
or on the street. See also Sim Swimming Pool
and Wading Pool.
Reservation Information
Multipurpose Room: Recommended for wedding receptions,
banquets, large meetings and celebrations.

- Distinguishing Features: Adjoining kitchen, restrooms, and water fountains.
Meeting Room: Recommended for small meetings or
classes. Carpeted.

- Distinguishing Features: Room divided into two smaller rooms with
an accordion room divider. Chalk board on wall.
Art Room: Recommended for craft activities and
small meetings.
Kitchen: Adjoins multipurpose room and is available
to rent with it. Commercial stainless steel fixtures, ice maker, refrigerator,
counter space, serving window, dishwasher, and a range for cooking.
Amenities: Podium (no mic), two 100-cup coffee
pots, TV/VCR and portable stage. (A rental fee or deposit may be required.)
