CRYSTALKAY FAIRRINGTON, District 2

Crystalkay Fairrington
Crystalkay is a student at Grant High School. She is par of the grant criminal justice academy.

Crystalkay joined the Sacramento Youth Commission to ensure that the youth voice is heard through the Sacramento area.

ARDEN PLUMB, District 3

Arden Plumb
Arden is a student at St Francis School and is a community service leader for Loaves and Fishes. She play’s the piano and is an assistant to blind women at the NHS.

Arden joined the Sacramento Youth Commission to bring attention to youth issues in Sacramento and address growing youth related problems in the city.

     

     

     

MIRAYA BARBA ARROYO, District 3

Miraya is a student at St. Francis High School. She is a volunteer with the Alzheimer’s club.

Miraya joined the Sacramento Youth Commission to make sure the voice of the youth in her district is heard.

 

BRENT ENG, District 4

Brent Eng
Brent is a student at McClatchy High School and is on the schools tennis and basketball teams.
Brent joined the Sacramento Youth Commission to help create more opportunities for youth in the community.

 

 


PATRICIA SANCHEZ, District 5

Patricia Sanchez, District 5
Patricia is a student at West Campus High School. She is part of the Moot Court and President of the Youth Court. She belongs to the Key club speech and debate club and the Axis club. Patricia is the secretary to the Forensics Science Club. Patricia is also the president of the MESA club.

Patricia joined the Sacramento Youth Commission because she felt that the youth in the oak park community were not being represented as much. She would like to make a difference in her community.

 

ALISON BROWN, District 6

Alison Brown
Alison is a student at Rio Americano High School and is a volunteer at Pops in the Park events, and enjoys playing soccer.

Alison joined the Sacramento Youth Commission to give the youth of Sacramento a voice.

ANDREW NEVIS, District 7

Andrew Nevis
Andrew is a student at Kennedy High School and is part of a speech and debates teem. He is currently the Chair on the Youth Commission

Andrew joined the Sacramento Youth Commission to ensure that the voice of Sacramento’s youth and District 7 is heard in City Hall.

 

 

     

ANNIE TSAY, At-Large

Annie Tsay, At-Large
Annie is a student at Mira Loma High School and plays the cello for the Sacramento youth symphony. Any enjoys swimming.

Annie joined the Sacramento Youth Commission to become more actively involved with issues involving Sacramento Youth.

     

     

     

RACHEL EIDANIZADEH, At-Large

Rachel is a student at Sacramento New Technology High School and enjoys being a leader.

Rachel joined the Sacramento Youth Commission to become a leader in her community. She spent a lot of time in leadership, at CASC, working on her leadership skills. She also spent many hours in helping her community and participating in community services. The commission was in her opinion a great way to use her skills and to be more involved.

RIAN NGUY, At-Large

Rian is a student at Arthur A. Benjamin Health Professions High School. She is part of the HOSA and MESA clubs at school.

Rian joined the Sacramento Youth Commission to change the curriculum in her school to not sink so much into medicine and to implement art.

 

 

 

MOLLY BAILEY, At-Large

Molly Bailey, At-Large

Molly is a student at St. Francis High School. She loves tennis, is a volunteers with Loaves and Fishes, and tutors elementary level students.

Molly joined the Sacramento Youth Commission to help the youth in her community get a voice.

 

 

ANNA FLOHR, At-Large

Anna Flohr

Anna is a freshman Liberal Studies major at Sac State, studying multilingual education in hopes of teaching in third world countries. She is and has been participating in various tutoring and volunteer programs in elementary and middle schools throughout the Sacramento area.
“I joined the Youth Commission because I wanted to share my voice and ideas in my community and work towards positive alternatives for youth in Sacramento.”
