The historic Sacramento Valley Station has served as the primary rail passenger station for the northern California region since its opening in 1926 and has grown in ridership to the nation’s 7th busiest station, serving the 3rd ranked Amtrak service on the Capitol Corridor.

Phase 2 of the Sacramento Valley Station renovation will remake the 88-year-old station into a destination with shops and offices. The station will be better equipped to serve the anticipated growth in rail and transit passengers.
