Submitting building plans just got easier – and cheaper

The City of Sacramento is rolling out a new service that will make the building and planning process even more streamlined. Starting Monday, Feb. 13, ePlan Check will make its formal debut as part of the City’s Sacramento Streamline Program.
ePlan Check allows commercial customers to submit building plans electronically, which will reduce the need to reproduce numerous sets of hard copy plans—a move that will yield significant savings immediately by cutting print costs. In addition to saving thousands on reproduction, this mostly paperless processing will reduce processing time for staff and ultimately the customer.
