Pet Projects

Looking for the love of your life?

Who says you can’t buy love? Pay a visit to the Sacramento City Animal Shelter. In an unprecedented effort to increase shelter pet adoptions, Sacramento residents can “name their price” when adopting. Don’t wait, the special runs through Sunday, Feb. 12! Adoptions include vaccinations, micro-chipping, license, ID tag and collar, spaying/neutering and above all, a new best friend.

The animal shelter is located at 2127 Front Street and is open Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5:00 p.m., along with Wednesday through Friday from noon to 5:30 p.m. See a recent feature story on Fox 40 about the promotion.

Look at potential pets here. Connect with us on Facebook. Find out about free pet services, especially for pit bulls, in Oak Park Sunday, Feb. 19, here. (A text only version is also available)
