Free tax preparation assistance is available to tax payers who earned less than $50,000 in 2011. The IRS collaborates with many agencies and organizations, including the City of Sacramento, to train volunteers to assist low-to-moderate wage earners with their income tax preparation.

Those who meet the income requirements for free tax preparation assistance may also qualify for additional tax credits.

The City of Sacramento will host VITA sites at the Pannell/Meadowview Community Center, Oak Park Community Center, South Natomas Community Center, George Sim Community Center and Hart Senior Center. Get complete information and schedules.
