Merchant Validation Program

This discount parking program allows merchants to purchase parking coupons to issue to customers who patron their establishment. There are several options available to meet the parking validation needs of interested merchants.

City-operated parking facilities take validations from many downtown retailers and restaurants. Participating merchants typically display a sign in the window to inform potential customers that validation coupons are available with purchase. Three and four hour parking validations are available at all Downtown Plaza Parking Garages by making a minimum purchase at participating Downtown Plaza Merchant.

Which validation option is best for us?

Validation Coupons

Validation Coupons are used widely throughout the city by merchants who issue parking validations to customers who purchase a minimum of $5 at their establishment. Merchant validation coupons will validate $5 worth of parking. 

Validation Coupons are programmed for garage specific parking. Please remember to inform your customer which parking facility your establishment is able to validate parking for.

Agreement-Based Validations

If your business needs require a customized validation other than the amount offered through the standard $5 validation coupon, there may be other options available to you.
