Event Parking
There are various parking options available for events according to the venue or special event’s needs. The event parking options are as follows:
Friday & Saturday Evenings
Pre-pay parking (Flat Rate) is available on Friday & Saturday evenings at Old Sacramento & Tower Bridge Garage after 4pm. Pre-pay mode allows the lot operations to facilitate the efficient entry and exit from the parking facility in the Downtown core area(s), when highly populated. Pre-pay mode allows the customer to pay for their parking upon arriving and avoid using a pay machine upon exit which can cause some traffic congestion. Pre-pay rates vary according to the parking facility and are valid thru midnight.
**During pre-pay mode, City parking facilities are unable to honor merchant validations.

Special Events
Pre-pay mode at a parking facility may be necessary for large events that have a significant impact to the operations ie: Amgen, St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Jazz Jubilee, etc.. Pre-pay mode is made available at any parking facility for annual City events and evaluated on a case by case basis for other City special events.
**During pre-pay mode, City parking facilities are unable to honor merchant validations.
Event parking for large City events is also available for custom parking needs such as: event vendors, exhibitors, filming crews, etc. Parking needs vary according to the event and may require reservation of parking spaces at a parking garage or surface lot during the event hour(s). For more information regarding your specific event needs, please contact Parking Services at (916) 808-5110.
