Yellow Zones: These zones are clearly marked with a yellow curb. Loading zones are to be used for the loading and unloading of equipment and materials for a maximum of 30 minutes. These zones are for the use of commercial licensed vehicles only.
Green Zones: Short term parking for a maximum of 15 minutes. These zones are clearly marked with a green curb or sign.

White zones: Passenger loading zones are to be used for the loading and unloading of passengers and their baggage for a maximum of 5 minutes. These zones are clearly marked with a white curb or sign. Red Zones: No parking any time. These zones are clearly marked with a red curb and/or sign. Double parking: It is illegal to double park at any time. Double parking impedes the flow of traffic and could prevent access to an emergency vehicle. Fire Hydrants: It is illegal to park in front of, or within 15 feet of a fire hydrant.
Disabled Parking: These zones and spaces are marked by a sign and either a blue curb or a wheel chair painted in the space and are reserved for persons with license plates or placards issued by the state specifically for persons with disabilities. Unauthorized vehicles will be cited. The minimum fine is 275 dollars Time limits: Time limits are clearly posted in all controlled parking areas. Look for the signs. After you have paarked in a time zone for the maximum time posted you must move your vehicle off of the block. It is illegal to remove a chalk mark from your car's tire. Metered Parking: There are a variety of metered parking spaces in the city. These meters are coin operated and are enforced as posted. Most meters accept quarters only. It is illegal to park for longer than the maximum posted sign. Pay attention: Paying careful attention to posted parking regulations and time limits will save you time and trouble. If you are in doubt don't park, call the Parking Administration office at 808-5354 or ask a Parking Enforcement Officer.
