Temporary Construction Parking Permits
Parking Services Division provides Temporary Construction Parking Permits to contractors who carry large, and/or heavy equipment and/or materials in the bed of their truck. Simple hand tools and/or maps are not considered heavy equipment. Also, a contractor's vehicle must be registered as "Commercial" with the DMV.
Temporary Construction Parking Permits are purchased on a monthly basis for $60.00 each month. Contractors may purchase permits up to 3-months at a time.
Contractors must complete a Temporary Construction Parking Permit Application and either fax it to 916-808-7501 or drop it off at the Revenue Division, Customer Service Desk located at 915 I Street, Room 1214 Sacramento, CA 95814
It may take up to 72 hours for the application to be approved. The Revenue Division will notify the contractor and advise if the application is approved or denied. Once approved, permits are purchased at the Revenue Division Customer Service Desk. Office hours are Monday- Friday, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm (excludes holidays).
