The following are street and/or sidewalk closures for the time frame beginning Friday, January 13, 2012.
DOWNTOWN AREA
SHORT-TERM SIDEWALK & STREET CLOSURES
- J Street @ 3rd Street (periodic traffic lane and sidewalk closures for concrete maintenance project).
- 10th Street @ R Street (periodic traffic lane closures and sidewalk closures for various construction activities).
- 16th Street @ L Street (periodic traffic lane closure for an underground utility project) Night work.
- O Street –btwn- 15th Street and 16th Street (long term sidewalk and street closures of O Street for various construction activities).
- I Street @ 5th Street (periodic sidewalk and traffic lane closure for an underground utility project). This project will include some day and night operations with some full street closure during the weekend.
- I Street –btwn- 16th and 18th Street (periodic sidewalk and traffic lane closures for concrete maintenance project).
- 12th Street @ I Street (periodic traffic lane and side walk closures for various construction activities).
- Richards Blvd @ North 7th Street (periodic street closures with detours for various construction activities).
- 7th Street –btwn- I Street and J Street (periodic traffic lane and sidewalk closures for various construction activities).
- I Street –btwn- 6th Street and 7th Street (sidewalk closed on the south side of the street for various construction activities) alternate pedestrian pathway installed to allow access to the south side of the Street.
- 7th Street –btwn- J Street and K Street (traffic lane and sidewalk closures on east side of the street for various contrition activities to renovate building structure).
- L Street –btwn- 29th Street and 28th Street (Long term street and sidewalk closure of L Street for Sutter Hospital expansion project).
- Richards Blvd @ Hwy 5 Freeway (periodic traffic lane and sidewalk closures for City of Sacramento off ramp/on ramp project) Please use alternate routes when possible to avoid traffic congestion.
- Richards Blvd –btwn- North 5th Street and North 7th street (periodic traffic lane closures for various construction activities).
- 7th Street @ North B Street (period traffic lane closures for overhead utility project).
- 7th Street –btwn- Richards Blvd and H Street (periodic traffic lane and sidewalk closures for Regional Transit project).
- G Street –btwn- 7th Street and 8th Street (periodic traffic lane and street closures on G Street for Regional Transit Project).
- 8th Street –btwn G Street and H Street (periodic traffic lane closures for Regional Transit Project).
NORTH AREA
North of the River

- Del Paso Blvd @ Oxford (periodic traffic lane and sidewalk closures for Concrete maintenance project).
- Grand Ave @ Winters (periodic traffic lane and sidewalk closures for traffic signal loop maintenance).
- Arden @ Harbor point (periodic sidewalk and traffic lane closures for a concrete maintenance project).
- Arden @ Evergreen ((periodic sidewalk and traffic lane closures for an underground maintenance project).
- West El Camino –btwn- Mill Creek Drive and Truxel Road (periodic sidewalk and traffic lane closures for an underground utility project).
- Main Ave –btwn- Marysville blvd and Raley Blvd (periodic traffic lane and sidewalk closures for complete installation of new sidewalks and ADA curb ramps).
- Norwood Ave –btwn- Fairbanks Ave and Lindley Drive (periodic traffic lane and sidewalk closures for various construction activities for bridge reconstruction project) please use alternate routes to avoid full street closures and traffic delays.
EAST AREA
East of 30th Street

- Broadway –btwn 14th Street and 15 Street (periodic traffic lane and sidewalk closure for concrete maintenance project).
- 65th Street Express Way –btwn- Fruitridge and Elder Creek Road (periodic traffic lane and sidewalk closures for traffic signal loop installation project).
- Franklin Blvd –btwn- Florin Road and Mack Road (periodic traffic lane closures for an underground utility maintenance project).
- Freeport Blvd @ Florin Road (periodic sidewalk and traffic lane closures for various construction activities).
- Power Inn Road @ Cucamonga (periodic traffic lane closures for an underground utility project). Includes some night work.
- Power Inn Road @ 14th Ave (periodic traffic lane closures for an underground utility project).
