The following are street and/or sidewalk closures for the time frame beginning Friday January 29, 2010.
DOWNTOWN AREA
SHORT-TERM SIDEWALK & STREET CLOSURES
- 9th Street –btwn- J Street and L Street (periodic traffic lane closures for a utility project).
- O Street –btwn- 19th Street and 20th Street (O Street is fully closed for a Union Pacific R/R project).
- 7th Street –btwn- Merchant Street and L Street (sidewalk closed on the east side of 7th Street for various construction activities).
- 16th Street @ Capital Ave (periodic traffic lane and sidewalk closures for ADA curb ramps and sidewalk construction project).
NORTH AREA
North of the River
SHORT-TERM SIDEWALK & STREET CLOSURES
- West El Camino @ Azevido (periodic traffic lane and sidewalk closure for bus stop reconstruction)
- Dixieanne Ave –btwn- Erickson Street and Clay Street (periodic street closures and sidewalk closures for various construction activities).
- Del Paso Road/Main Ave –btwn- Blackrock Drive and Rio Linda Blvd (periodic traffic lane closures for City of Sacramento Water Main Project.)
- Rio Linda Blvd @ North Ave (periodic traffic lane and sidewalk closures for installation of an ADA curb ramp).
EAST AREA
East of 30th Street
SHORT-TERM SIDEWALK & STEET CLOSURES
- Truxel @ Challenge way (periodic traffic lane closures for tree removals in the median).
- 45th Street –btwn- Street and 2nd Ave (periodic traffic lane and sidewalk closures for a large utility project). This project has both day and night work scheduled.
- H Street –btwn- 38th Street and 41st Street (periodic traffic lane and sidewalk closures for a utility project).
- Folsom Blvd –btwn- Seville and Alhambra (sidewalk closed, on the East side of Folsom, for various construction activities).
SOUTH AREA
South of Broadway
SHORT-TERM SIDEWALK & STREET CLOSURES
- 12th Ave –btwn- Franklin and 32 Street (complete sidewalk closure on the south side of the street and periodic traffic lane closures to make repairs on the bridge over pass of Hwy 99). This project will have some closures that will impact southbound Hwy 99.
- Meadowview Road –btwn- Amherst and 24th Street (periodic traffic lane and sidewalk closures for various construction activities associated with the installation of the new sound-wall project).
- Broadway –btwn- 39th Street and 41st Street (periodic traffic lane and sidewalk closures for SMUD Pole relocation project). Expect some work on MLK Blvd near the intersection of Broadway and MLK Blvd.
- Riverside Blvd -btwn Sutterville Road and 25th Ave (periodic traffic lane closures for an underground utility project).
- Mack Road –btwn- Franklin and Brookfield (periodic sidewalk and traffic lane closures for a SMUD project).
