The Traffic Design & Plan Review group's primary functions are scoping
and design review for private development and city projects.
Design & Plan Review
Review plans to verify consistency with design standards with
respect to signing and striping as well as traffic signal operations.

as design requirements in the Design and Procedure Manual.
Provide support and design recommendations to address safety concerns.
Facilitate coordination amongst Traffic Engineering disciplines to
ensure consistency with traffic related goals (traffic signal timing,
traffic calming, roadway design, corridor timing, etc.).
Review Traffic Signal Concept Reports and Roundabout Concept Reports
to ensure preliminary design is acceptable and adequate right of way is
reserved.
