Solid Waste

Appointment Based Neighborhood Cleanup Program

The Solid Waste Division is implementing a new pilot program for Neighborhood Clean Up. Selected communities throughout the City are being asked to schedule an appointment for the annual clean up program. In the past entire neighborhoods participated, now residents can participate individually at a time convenient for the resident. The goals of the program are to increase convenience, reduce costs, and limit scavenging of piles.

WHY THE CHANGE?

  • Convenience
  • Reduced Visual Blight
  • Cleaner Neighborhoods
  • Reduced Illegal Dumping
  • Reduced Scavenging

Appointments can be scheduled up to 30 days in advance.
