The Sacramento City Council established a new Utilities Rate Advisory Commission. This seven-member panel is envisioned to be

  A ratepayer and expert advisory panel to the Mayor and City Council

A community liaison that provides information about utility service rates and collects feedback from the public

Lend Your Insight and Expertise: Become a Commission Member

Applications are currently being accepted for membership on the Utilities Rate Advisory Commission. Eligible applicants must be a City of Sacramento resident who receives service from the Department of Utilities. Leadership and expertise is desired, but not required of all members, in the following areas:
accounting science water supply
and distribution
auditing environmental
finance construction
management
sewer collection
and treatment
law
engineering solid waste collection
and disposal
storm drainage collection

Download An Application Copies may also be picked up at the City Clerk’s Office at 915 I Street, 1st Floor or at the City of Sacramento Department of Utilities at 1395 35th Ave. The application deadline is February 22, 2008.
