  • Acids
  • Aerosol cans
  • Antifreeze
  • Automotive Products
  • Brake/transmission fluid
  • Car batteries (lead acid/car, 6 volt or more, maximum of 2)
  • Electronic waste (computer monitors and televisions)
  • Fluorescent lamps/tubes
  • Gasoline and other flammables
  • Herbicides
  • Household batteries
  • Household cleaners
  • Mercury thermometers
  • Most products labeled DANGER, CAUTION, WARNING, FLAMMABLE, or POISON
  • Paint thinners
  • Paints: oil-based or latex
  • Pesticides
  • Poisons
  • Pool chemicals
  • Propane cylinders
  • Sharps (needles, lancets)
  • Solvents
  • Used Motor Oil
  • Used Oil Filters

Note:  Containers must be leak proof and accurately labeled.  State law prohibits transporting more than 15 gallons or 125 pounds of hazardous materials.

HHW Materials Not Accepted

  • Asbestos
  • Compressed industrial gas cylinders
  • Contractor or business waste
  • Explosives
  • Ammunition
  • Infectious waste
  • Medical waste (except sharps)
  • PCB’s
  • Radioactive materials
