State law bans any device with a cathode ray tube (CRT) from being landfilled since they contain lead. Common examples of items with CRTs include televisions, Portable DVD Players and computer monitors. Appliances with mercury switches are also banned from landfills. The companies below provide recycling services for these items. Some items may be recycled at no cost due to state funding. Be sure to contact the recycler for fee information and hours of operation.
