Purple Circle Number TwoClick on the link below to view cats available for foster care. Fostering lets you see how the cat does in your home. If an owner does not come forward, you’ll be first in line to adopt. If you decide not to adopt, we’ll help you find an adopter. It's a great way to help a shelter cat and potentially find your next best friend.

WE ARE ACCEPTING REQUESTS TO ADOPT OR FOSTER BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

Foster Kitten Front Street Animal ShelterWith this new process, you will see fewer adoptable cats on the website than normal. Adoptable cats are removed from the website after we have received a certain number of interested parties. Due to the high demand of adoptable cats, we routinely receive multiple requests to adopt shortly after they are posted on the website.

The pages showing our adoptable cats are updated every 30 minutes. However, we cannot guarantee that any of the adoptable cats will still be available when you email us. Cats are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

ADOPTION FEES WAIVED FOR MILITARY VETERANS

The cat and kitten adoption fees are waived for any person who presents a current and valid driver's license or identification card with VETERAN printed on it. Each military veteran is allowed one (1) cat or kitten adoption every 6 months.  NOTE: This discount does NOT apply to the special adoption fee for high-demand pets.
