GROUP VOLUNTEER PROJECTS

Intel Volunteer Group

VOLUNTEERING WITH FRIENDS CAN BE FUN!

Do you have a group of friends, co-workers, or students who want to volunteer together for a service project?  We would love to have you here at the Front Street Animal Shelter! Here's how it works:

  • We offer group volunteer opportunities on Friday or Sunday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. We may be able to accommodate special date requests, but we cannot guarantee it.

  • Ideal group size is 6-15 volunteers.

  • All volunteers in the group must be 12 years or older and there must be at least one volunteer in the group who is 18 years or older. Student project groups with all volunteers who are 16 years or older may be accepted without an adult chaperone.

  • All volunteers in the group must wear closed-toed shoes and long pants. Please be prepared for the weather and dress accordingly

  • Group volunteers will NOT be interacting directly with or handling shelter animals! You will get to see the shelter animals but not handle them.

  • Organizing storage sheds
  • Washing dishes
  • Cleaning sidewalks
  • Assembling projects
  • And much, much more!
