This page provides references for current major projects currently being reviewed by the Community Development Department.  This page will be updated periodically with additional information as it becomes available.

The Greenbriar Project (P11-093)

A request to process revisions to the Greenbriar development project, which is an application on approximately 577± acres located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Elkhorn Boulevard and Highway 99. The first phase of the project was approved in January 2008 (M05-046/P05-069), which included Reorganization, Tax Exchange Agreement, Finance Plan, Inclusionary Housing Plan, General Plan Amendment, Pre-zone, Greenbriar Planned Unit Development Establishment, and Airport Land Use Commission Override. The current proposal requires approval of a Development Agreement, Finance Plan, General Plan Amendment, Rezone, PUD Schematic Plan and Guidelines Amendment, Mixed Income Housing Strategy, Tentative Master Parcel Map, Tentative Subdivision Map, Tentative Map Design Deviations, and Site Plan and Design Review with deviations for the proposed maps.

Sacramento COMMONS Phase I (DR16-005)

Phase I of the Sacramento Commons project proposes to construct two 7 story midrise buildings with apartments, live-work units, open space terraces, retail spaces, and enclosed parking.  The proposal is within the approved Sacramento Commons Planned Unit Development, with Phase I at the intersection of 5th and O Streets.  A draft Master Signage Program is also included for this phase of the development and parts of the overall Sacramento Commons PUD site.  The entire Sacramento Commons PUD site totals approximately 11.17 acres, and is bounded by 5th, 7th, N and P Streets.  For more information, please see the project resource links below.
