Sacramento Fire Department personnel look forward to assisting you with your event. Please review our Engine Districts Map to ensure your event is within our service area. In addition, we have developed a Special Event Guidebook to help event promoters, sponsors, and vendors achieve a safe event. If you have questions that have not been addressed in the guidebook, please send an email to our Special Events Team.

To request a Sacramento Fire Department fire engine and/or personnel to participate in your event, visit a school, or schedule a fire station tour within our service area, please complete our Event Participation Request Form. When making your request, please consider the following:

  • Request forms must be received at least 3 weeks prior to the event date.
  • Events must be located within the Sacramento City Fire Department service area.
  • Participation by the fire department is coordinated around a training schedule. The department will do its best to accommodate your request.
  • Firefighters who participate in events are on-duty and therefore may be late and/or need to leave events to respond to an emergency.
