Recognized Employee Organizations

Recognized Employee Organizations represent 86% of City of Sacramento employees. There are a total of nine (9) unions/associations that represent about 4,800 employees in the City. The unions and associations negotiate labor agreements for employees, represent employees in discipline or grievance processes, and help employees with general labor contract questions.
