Reservation Information

The Sam & Bonnie Pannell Community Center can accommodate small gatherings of 20 people or large events of up to 300 people. For information regarding rentals and reservations, call 916-808-6680 or download the forms below:

Individuals must submit forms for each entity they wish to use. Submitting a form for the Sam & Bonnie Pannell Community Center does not automatically guarantee or include use of Pannell-Meadowview Swimming Pool, River Cats Independence Field, or vice versa.

Please Come Spring into the Neighborhood Walks Program at Pannell Community Center Monday/Wednesday Friday at 9am. Our walking program promotes, Mind body and soul with active Hart Beat pulsing down 24th street to Meadowview Park and Back to Pannell Community Center. We have a supportive staff to meet any all our participants needs at different walking levels. Meet Council Woman Mai Vang on Mondays. This is a safe, friendly walk with Participant’s age 50+ . It’s only a short walk to better health.

Bid Whist Card Group
Wednesdays and Fridays from 12:30p–4:30p
Bid Whist is a partnership trick-taking variant of the classic card game whist. As indicated by the name, Bid Whist adds a bidding element to the game that is not present in classic whist. FREE

General Crafters Workshop
Thursdays from 10:30a–3:30p
The General Crafters Workshop is let by a talented volunteer, so come enjoy Crochet, Knitting, Quilting, Sewing and more in a social atmosphere. FREE

Sacramento Diamonds Bridge
Mondays from 11a–3p
Join up with the Sacramento Diamonds Bridge Club and work on your mental sharpness while having great social interaction. FREE

Ping Pong
Monday through Wednesday from 10a–2p
Come and socialize while testing your skills in this high-paced game of ping pong. FREE

Hot Spot Remix
Third Friday of the Month from 6:30p–9:30p
Hot Spots nights are back, and teens are invited to participate in indoor/outdoor sports, swimming, movie nights, food trucks and give-a-ways. Go online or call to find out the theme of the month. FREE

Summer Youth and Teen Camps
Youth – Monday through Friday from 9a–2p
Teens – Monday through Friday from 3p–7p
Participants will enjoy an array of exciting activities including games, crafts, cooking projects, drama, science, and sports! Participants will have opportunities to attend fieldtrips and weekly swimming at Pannell Swimming Pool. FREE

Senior Bingo
2nd & 4th Thursdays from 12:30p–1:30p
Come and enjoy social engagement with others and win small bingo prizes. FREE

Senior Computer Lab
Wednesdays & Thursdays from 10a–12n
The computer lab is open to help seniors with creating email accounts, basic computer operation, smart phone help, understanding the internet and more. FREE

Senior Dice Game
Monday through Friday from 12n–2p
Come out and join a friendly game of 1000 or Greedy. FREE

Senior Exercise
Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays from 10:30a–11:30a
Low impact senior exercise workout program by video–weights and bands provided.  Many of the exercises are done while sitting in a chair. FREE

Senior Social Time
Monday through Friday from 11:30a–12:30p
Come socialize and reconnect with your fellow seniors over a few table games while enjoying light refreshments. FREE
