CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CITY MANAGEMENT ACADEMY CLASS OF 2018!

The CMA Class of 2018 completed a 10-week series of presentations and discussions by numerous City of Sacramento department leaders, learning intricate details on how the City departments operate and provide services. The 2018 class engaged in passionate discussions regarding challenges facing the City of Sacramento and highlighting possible strategies to address them.

The dialogue between presenters and residents fostered a unique opportunity to share and learn from one another.  The Neighborhood Services Division thanks each and every one of the students and City Department representatives for their time and commitment to the Academy. We welcome the continued participation and partnership by the Class of 2018, now CMA alumni, as the City of Sacramento and the Neighborhood Services Division continues to improve its commitment to Sacramento residents, prioritizing greater engagement, education, and collaboration between the City and its residents.

Neighborhood Services Division (NSD) continues to serve as a catalyst into 21st century community engagement. With video production help from Summer @ City Hall returning youth, Martha Mendoza, Thomas Hara and instructional guidance from Neighborhood Resource Coordinator, Reggae Brown; NSD will remain citizens-solution centered, as we maximize our ability to communicate through multimedia.
