National Night Out

National Night Out

Residents and communities throughout Sacramento on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 are invited to join neighborhoods across the country for the 34th Annual National Night Out, a campaign promoting police-community partnerships aimed at preventing crime.

Many neighborhoods throughout Sacramento will be hosting a variety of special events such as block parties, BBQs, youth activities, and more. These events are an opportunity for residents and law enforcement to get to know one another in a safe and positive environment. Sacramento law enforcement, along with city representatives, will be visiting neighborhood celebrations throughout the evening.

National Night Out is designed to heighten crime prevention awareness by involving citizens, law enforcement agencies, neighborhood organizations and local officials from over 10,000 communities from all 50 states.
