Airfield Park

2491 Natomas Crossing Drive

This 9.4-acre neighborhood park site is undeveloped and it has been master-planned and will be developed in two phases as follows:

PHASE 1: Completed 10/2021: Consisted of developing 4.4-acres, construction began late summer 2020. Phase 1 park improvements included developing 4.4 acres of the park. This included temporary construction fencing, grading, drainage system, irrigation system, shade trees, turf, landscaping, concrete walkways, children's themed aeronautical playgrounds, a group picnic area with two shade structures, a park name sign, park rules signs, concrete picnic tables, serving table, park benches, trash receptacles, bike racks, two outdoor ping pong tables, two cornhole games, and a drinking fountain.

PHASE 2: will consist of developing the remaining 5-acres, and is scheduled to begin construction in August 2021. Phase 2 park improvements will include developing the remaining 5 acres of the park, and includes temporary construction fencing, erosion control grading, drainage, an irrigation system, shade trees, turf and landscaping, concrete walkways, two playground shade canopies, and multi-purpose sports court, and two horseshoe courts. Phase 2 is scheduled to be completed in late spring 2022.
