 This 2.53 acre park is named for Charlie "Red" Jensen, who was the first licensed airplane mechanic in California. Jensen also owned and operated Jensen Airport, a small airport that was located within the Land Park community. In 2005, the City Council voted to name a park after this distinguished aviation pioneer in recognition of his many contributions to this region's aviation history.
