LeVar Burton Park (Formerly RICHFIELD PARK)

1900 EXPEDITION WAY

This is a 3.14-acre neighborhood park located south of Meadowview Road and east of I-5.

Construction Notice:
LeVar Burton Park Shade Structure:
Construction is scheduled to start August and end September 2019. Improvements include: removal/replacement of existing fabric shade canopy structure over the group picnic. Richfield Park has been renamed to LeVar Burton Park.

  • Grass Amphitheater
  • Landscaping
  • Native Plant Areas with an "Urban Forest"
  • Picnic Tables
  • Shade Structure
  • Volleyball - open grass area for lawn volleyball
  • Walking Paths

Improvements include:

  • New playground with adventure play equipment (5-12 year old) 
    and tot lot play equipment (2-5 year old)
  • New shade structure over the playground
  • New picnic area
  • New fitness stations
  • Old benches and picnic tables replaced with metal site furniture
  • Picnic area shade canopy replaced
