 Richfield Playground with Shade Canopy

Richfield Park / LeVar Burton Park*


This is a 3.14-acre site located south of Meadowview Road and east of I-5 in a new development by JTS Communities.


Richfield Park will be renamed to LeVar Burton Park. 
The public is invited to celebrate LeVar Burton Day at the LeVar Burton Park Renaming and Dedication Event on June 11, 2019 at 11 am in the park (1900 Expedition Way). The new LeVar Burton Park sign has been installed and is covered as requested by CM Carr (see photo below). The informational sign regarding the upcoming June 11th event has also been installed. The construction fence will be removed by the contractor on June 10th prior to the event.

  • Old benches and picnic tables replaced with metal site furniture
  • Picnic area shade canopy replaced
