With the current and evolving COVID-19 situation, various Access Leisure Social Programs and events (that require participants to physically meet) are meeting on Zoom. There are many amazing virtual programs to choose from as well as walking groups, outdoor special events, and more.

PARENT AND CARE PROVIDER CHAMPION GROUP

Purpose of the Champion Group: While we all navigate these challenging times; Access Leisure staff would like to provide time for parents, family members and care providers of Access Leisure participants to come together to discuss topics as needed. These sessions are meant to be an open discussion and a time to discuss any challenges you are having as well as a time for us to assist you in finding the resources you and your family may need to continue to be healthy at home.

FEBRUARY ZOOM ACTIVITIES

February monthly Zoom fee = $25 per participant (this fee will give you access to ALL of the Zoom activities on the calendar). Thank you!
Fees will not be reduced if you sign up after February has started. However, you are welcome to join us any time during the month once you have registered. If $25 for the full month is challenging for you financially, please reach out to us. We will work with you to find a solution.

EVENING MEDITATION

Thursday, February 3rd
5:00pm – 5:30pm
Meditation is a great way to start a relaxing evening, let’s practice together. Sessions vary and may include a variety of Tai Chi, guided meditation and solo meditation with nature sounds and peaceful music. See February Activities message above regarding online registration.

FITNESS FRIDAY

Friday, February 4th & 18th
11:00am – 11:30am
Each session will be unique based on the strengths of the attendees. Exercises can be completed while seated or standing… or both! See February Activities message above regarding online registration.

YOGA

Monday, February 7th
4:00pm - 4:45pm
This basic yoga session is great for all experience levels. You may participate while seated or standing. Mats are awesome too, but not required. See February Activities message above regarding online registration.

GROUP GAMES

Friday, February 11th
5:00pm – 6:00pm
Join us for an hour of group games. If you can, plan to bring at least one piece of paper and something to write or draw with. We will try Popcorn, Parachute, and Pictionary. See February Activities message above regarding online registration.

VALENTINE’S NAME THAT TUNE

ART & WELLNESS

Wednesday, February 23rd

Topic: Anger Thermometer & Coping Skills
Supplies: You will need paper and something to draw with (if you choose to follow along with the drawing of the day). If you have colored pencils, markers, crayons, or pastels at home – that would be fantastic. You can always log-in without supplies to follow along and socialize. DANCE PARTY

Friday, February 25th
5:00pm – 6:00pm
We’ll play a variety of dancing music for all to
enjoy. This is a great event to “dress up” for if you would like. See February Activities message above regarding online registration.

MOVIE MONDAY

Monday, February 28th
6:00pm – 8:00pm
Feel free to bring along some tasty snacks… or dinner! Please plan to be “muted” for most of this activity. Our theme this month is… “love” for Valentine’s Day! The movie selection will be announced the day of the event. See February Activities message above regarding online registration.

We hope to be able to meet in person for activities and programs soon. In the meantime, virtual programming is a great way to enjoy activities and have some fun while we are apart.

Hello Families and Friends,

As we continue to navigate these difficult and ever-changing times, we have made the following decision to postpone all League Bowling programs at this time. We know that this is a very tough and emotional time for all of us, and your health and well-being is foremost on our minds as we all navigate down this unprecedented path together.

All Bowling programs are cancelled at this time, WE HOPE TO RESUME LEAGUE PLAY NEXT YEAR.
