Camp Sacramento is a family camp & conference center serving residents of the Sacramento Valley and beyond since 1920.

Camp Sacramento is a permittee of the Eldorado National Forest. In accordance with Federal law and U.S. Department of Agriculture policy, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.

JOIN US for a unique opportunity to experience Camp Sacramento! For limited time only, we are offering 10 camp cabins for daily campground-style rentals. Enjoy a safe getaway with your family at our beautiful location, explore trails and rivers, relax on our brand-new deck, and try your luck fishing at the rivers and lakes around us.

We are following all City of Sacramento, El Dorado County, and Forest Service requirements to offer you a safe respite. Following CDC guidelines, we have adapted our procedures and protocols to maintain a clean and disinfected facility, and include social distancing, the use of face coverings, and other protective measures. Everyone’s safety is our number one priority.

One Hundred Years of Camp Sacramento
Established in 1920, Camp will be celebrating 100 years of service with the special anniversary theme … “Decades”! It will give us a unique opportunity to celebrate the multitude of camper generations and people that have impacted Camp throughout all these years and made it what it is today – a place for a lifetime of memories! A lot of exciting activities and special events are in the works to mark such a special anniversary along with a very special “Centennial Celebration” on Sunday, August 2nd, 2020. It is an exciting opportunity to connect and recognize all campers and people who impacted camp throughout the years, as well as celebrate the rich and unique history of Camp. With a special Centennial Commemoration ceremony in the works, this will truly be a celebration to remember!

The Friends of Camp Sacramento is a non-profit volunteer organization, consisting of people with a love for camp. They are dedicated to supporting Camp Sacramento for the enjoyment of all campers by providing financial contributions, conducting project improvements, social activities, and by increasing awareness by public outreach.
