Ferry to Angel Island and ride the Tram around the Island

Saturday, October 19, 2019

Known as the “Jewel of San Francisco Bay”, Angel Island State Park is alive with history.  The Island was a Miwok Indian fishing village, a cattle ranch, a US Army post during the Civil War, then the “ellis Island of the West”.  Thousands of immigrants from China were processed through its gates until 1940.

On this trip, we’ll explore the island from the comfort of a tram with breathtaking views of the Bay, San Francisco, Skyline, Sausalito, Tiburon and the Golden Gate Bridge.  A professionally produced audio history of Angel Island plays over the audio system while you are enjoying your tour.

A box lunch is included at the Cafe.  And the ferry ride to and from Angle Island.

Come enjoy a beautiful Fall day in the Bay!
