A strengths-based, paid work experience program, for high school seniors. WIOA partners with local government, private business and the retail industry. Participants with specific barriers (ex: pregnant and/or parenting, foster youth, homeless) receive training in pre-employment skills such as resume writing, employer expectations, service learning, and navigating college campuses. The WIOA program works closely with schools and provides supportive services to students in need. Supportive services may include transportation assistance, tutoring, and counseling center referrals.
