FAQ’S

Q: Is the Junior Giants season canceled?
A: No. Please know that our wholehearted intent is to still host the Junior Giants season this summer. The health of our community and you—our Junior Giants participants—remains our top priority moving forward.

Q: When is registration being opened?
A: At this point in time, we have decided to delay our online player and volunteer registration until further notice and have not confirmed a new opening date.

Q: When will I hear more about the status of Junior Giants?
A: As we receive more information from the Center for Disease Control & Prevention, the World Health Organization, and our host agencies in the coming weeks and months, we will continue to remain transparent in our decision making and keep you well informed of how we will proceed during this uncharted time.

GENERAL PROGRAM INFORMATION

Program Description
Junior Giants is a non-competitive, skill-based baseball/softball program, rules are loose and geared towards beginners. Score is not kept, games are self-officiated, and the program is centered around player development, success and experience rather than the final score. Junior Giants is open to boys and girls, ages 5-13. Players will receive all necessary equipment to play, baseball/softball hat and shirt.

Cost
Free

League Dates
Due to the impact of COVID-19, league dates are not available at this time. Once the green light has been given to run our league this summer, dates will be made available. See above FAQ’s.

Program Days
All games are played on Saturdays. Each team will also have one scheduled practice during the week. Practice days and times will be selected by the coach prior to the season.

Mandatory First Pitch Meeting
Attendees will learn more about the Junior Giants program, what is expected and hear from guest speakers. Attendance is required in order to participate in program.
