Sworn Benefit

  • 10 hour work day, 4 days a week
  • Retirement 2.7% @ 57, 50% contribution (4.5%)
  • Holiday Pay
  • 96 hours of sick leave accrual annually
  • Paid vacation of 80 hours to start, increasing with years of service, 480 hours maximum
  • 5% incentive pay for bachelor’s degree

  • Continuing Education Reimbursement, up to $1500 per year

Civilian Benefits

  • Retirement 2% @ 62 (new employees who are new to CalPERS); 50% contribution (3.5%)
