Provides transportation fund management and audit support, grant oversight and reporting, coordinates department contracts, monitors labor compliance, manages Public Works Capital Improvement Program, and provides overall administrative and budget support.
Provides design services for projects within the City’s right-of-way to ensure the delivery of quality projects that improve the safety and efficiency of the City’s roadway network for all modes of travel.
Provides construction inspection services for projects within the City’s right-of-way. Provides topographical and property surveys for City projects. Survey also establishes and maintains horizontal and vertical control data.
Reviews Subdivision Maps, Lot Line Adjustments, Lot Mergers and right-of-way abandonments to change the configuration of property lines. Reviews easement abandonments, and reviews plans for private development projects to ensure that a safe and efficient roadway infrastructure for all modes of transportation is maintained.
Identifies, prioritizes, plans, and funds transportation projects for the City. Provides coordination for bikeway and pedestrian improvements and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance in the public right-of-way.
