Benefits

The interchange has improved east-west mobility for motorists and bicyclists, reduced traffic congestion along Mack Road and promoted economic development by creating new access to 800 vacant acres of the Delta Shores development site.

Costs and Funding

Total project cost was $93 million. The project was funded through Measure A funds, state, federal and private developer funds.

Schedule

The interchange and extension were opened to traffic in December of 2015. Construction was completed in July of 2016.
