Project Description

The project will signalize the northbound off ramp at Elkhorn Boulevard and add a free right turn lane from the northbound off ramp to eastbound Elkhorn Boulevard. It will also widen Elkhorn Boulevard from the State Route 99 northbound off-ramp to approximately 1,100 feet east of East Commerce Way.

Benefits

The improvements will reduce traffic congestion and eliminate queuing from the northbound off ramp onto the freeway mainline.

Costs and Funding

The total project cost was $2.1 million. Funding was provided by Proposition 1B and local transportation funds.
