Figure 1- Completed Project

Project Description

The project widened Richard Boulevard within the interchange, widened the off ramps, reconstructed existing portions of Jibboom Street and reconstructed Bercut Drive.

It will reduce ramp queuing and mainline impacts at both the on and off ramps. The project will also provide for alternative modes of transportation, such as mass transit, biking, and pedestrian by constructing bus stops, bike lanes and pedestrian pathways.

Costs and Funding

The total project cost was $10 million. Funding is provided by local transportation, state, and federal funds.

Schedule

This project was completed in October 2013.
