NORTH 12TH STREET STREETSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT

Project Description

The project will construct a new sidewalk on the east side of North 12th Street from North B Street to Richards Boulevard. The improvements include removing barriers and constructing additional drainage, curbs and gutters, street lighting and a wrought iron fence to separate pedestrians from the Light Rail tracks.

Benefits

This project will improve pedestrian safety and enhance the neighborhood.

Costs and Funding

This project has completed its’ environmental clearance but does not have funding identified to advance into PS&E or construction.

Schedule

Design is expected to be complete in the Spring of 2021. Construction is expected to begin in the Summer 2021.

Updates

The project is currently in design. The Right of way process has begun and the project alignment has been determined.
