Everyone in Sacramento has a role to play in creating a more sustainable community. Empowerment of our residents and businesses to take action in greening their own lifestyles and neighborhoods is key to achieving our community’s sustainability and climate action goals.

The City of Sacramento also seeks to “lead by example” by increasing the sustainability of City facilities, programs and services offered to the community; and by educating and empowering City employees to make a difference and be green in the workplace.
