Sacramento Clean Cities Coalition

Clean Cities is a government-industry partnership designed to reduce petroleum consumption in the transportation sector. The Sacramento Clean Cities Coalition encompasses fleets in Sacramento, Placer, Butte, El Dorado, Yolo, Solano, Yuba and Sutter Counties. We seek to develop cooperative joint ventures which will help businesses and member agencies meet the goals of Clean Cities in a cost-effective manner. For more information, please also visit:

United States Department of Energy Workplace Charging Challenge Partnership

In 2012, Sacramento's City Council adopted a resolution to proceed with a contract to implement "Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in Various City Public Parking Garages." The City of Sacramento installed a total of 28 charging stations, some of which are available for use by the City and other area employees.
