City of Sacramento Donates a Totaled LNG Refuse Truck to ARC:

Rather than salvaging a Liquefied Natural Gas refuse truck, the City of Sacramento decided to give it to American River College to benefit its Heavy-duty Technician Training Program. ARC is now able to strengthen its certificate program by providing hands-on training for natural gas equipment.

New Parking Enforcement Cars Save City of Sacramento $310K

A switch to a new parking enforcement vehicle is expected to save the City of Sacramento, Calif., $309,904 over a 10-year lifecycle of the vehicles. The city has purchased eight Ford C-MAX hybrid sedans, replacing the GO-4 Interceptors it has been using for years.
