Parking Enforcement

The Parking Enforcement unit ensures compliance of local and state parking regulations to facilitate availability of parking spaces throughout the city, which supports local businesses and events.

Parking Citation Information

You've received a citation. Now what? Learn how to pay for your citation or find out what the process is for contesting a citation. The City of Sacramento also collects parking citation fines on behalf of the County of Sacramento. 

Disabled Person Parking Information

According to the California Department of Motor Vehicles, disabled persons displaying a special license plate or placard can park past the time limit in certain on-street parking spaces and are exempt from on-street meter payments. This payment exemption does not include off-street parking facilities, which may require payment to park. Learn more.
